Private Tours 'Into the Wild' Countryside Cycle Adventure
3 options: 22-38-52 kilometers; 8:30am - 6:30pm
On our all-inclusive, full-day 'Into the Wild' countryside cycle tour, we take you cycling through rice fields, bamboo forests, ancient villages and past mountains of northern Zengcheng district, near Nankunshan. We ride along greenways and country roads with near to no traffic, crossing small rivers, while surrounded by flowers, water buffaloes, butterflies, chicken and cicadas. Along the route our team provides water, soft drinks, fruits, and snacks at several stops, and a farmer's lunch is had in an ancient village. We finish with a refreshing swim with at a local pool and a BBQ dinner near the beautiful Baishuizhai waterfall that crashes down 428 meters. For fit cyclists who are up for a real challenge, we offer the option to ride up a long and steep section into Nankunshan, leaving Guangzhou borders. At the top you can marvel at the mountainous landscape around, and enjoy views of the lake. Wow!

3 OPTIONS
We split up in smaller groups with different speeds and abilities, and this tour is therefore suitable to anyone: from avid cyclists, to families with children, and everyone in between. We cycle at a leisurely pace, with several stops for (iced) drinks, fruits and snacks along the way. We see very little traffic and most sections are car-free. Many of the sections are shaded, protecting us from direct sunlight. Everything is taken care of and included, from private coach transport, backup vans and new mountain bikes and helmets, to abundant food and drinks.
There are three options to choose from:
- SHORT ROUTE: 22 kilometer ride, that is pretty much flat, and suitable to families with children and riders who like to go easy. 16km of riding before lunch, 6km after lunch, coach transfer to finish spot, with more time to spend at the swimming pool;

MEDIUM ROUTE: 38 kilometer ride, that is mostly flat and easy enough for people who know how to ride a bike. 16km of riding before lunch at a leisurely pace (together with Long Route), 16km after lunch at a leisurely pace, finishing the ride at the swimming pool;

LONG ROUTE: 52 kilometer ride, that is mostly flat but some small climbs, that is suitable to people with riding experience and with good cycling spirit. 16km of riding before lunch at a leisurely pace (together with Medium Route), 26km after lunch at a faster pace, finishing the ride at the swimming pool.
All routes are fully paved, except for a 300 meter short off-road section. It is no problem if you are unsure which group to join. We explain and can discuss when on our private coach heading to Zengcheng, and you have the option to switch groups after lunch.
HOW TO BOOK
This tour is offered for 728 CNY/adult, 428 CNY/riding child and 128 CNY for children in bike seats. Included in the price is everything you need: private coach transfer, bike, helmet, guides, lunch, dinner, drinks and snacks. CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
You may cancel your tour free of charge until 48 hours prior to departure. Cancellations after that time are charged 200 CNY. No refunds apply for cancellations within 12 hours before departure time or no shows. If WE need to cancel the tour due to COVID travel restrictions in the areas we visit, you will receive a full refund. We never cancel tours in case of rain, since it very rarely rains for more than 15 minutes.
WHERE TO MEET
We meet outside IFC, by the main entrance of the Friendship Store on Zhujiang Xi Lu, and next to the golden statue. The Chinese address for DiDi is: 广州国际金融中心. If you come by metro, go to Zhujiang New Town metro station and take exit C. If you have any problems in the morning, you can contact us at 15626406926. Please be there at 8:25am. We will depart, with or without you, at 8:40am! Several days before the tour you will be added to a WeChat group with all participants on the tour.
