A Weekend in Beach Paradise

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE

Leaving Guangzhou early on Saturday 22 May, the private coach arrives at our cosy surfers hotel around noon. Following a lunch at your own convenience, we take you to the prettiest beach to enjoy the afternoon. Swim, chill, surf, tan, para-sail, SUP, and join a party at a beach club!

On Sunday 23 May, we head to a different beach by private coach. You may dive straight in and enjoy the beach and sea, or you can join us for a hike with spectacular views of the bay, beach and rocky coastline that has some resemblance to the Italian Amalfi coast or California's Highway 1 coastline. In the early afternoon we take a speed boat and head for a deserted island for a relaxing afternoon with swimming, snorkelling, drinks and snacks. Back on the mainland we take a quick shower and board the bus for the return to Guangzhou. We expect to be back in Guangzhou around 7:30pm.

11:30  Arrival in Paradise, hotel check-in

13:00  Departure for the beach, private time with optional activitities

13:20  Arrival at the beach, private time with optional activities

16:00  Beach club party

SUNDAY

10:00  Hotel check-out

10:30  Departure by private coach to the second beach

11:00  Optional: short hike with spectacular views of the rocky coastline

13:00  Speed boat trip to White Sand Bay Island

15:30  Return to the mainland, option to shower

16:00  Private coach departure to Guangzhou

19:30  Arrival at IFC, Guangzhou

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

We stay at a cool, cosy hotel in the village, with a public outdoor area, indoor living room, outdoor tables and couches, and pool table. All rooms have air-conditioning, bathroom, towels (not for beach use) and offer beds for two people with queen-sized beds or twin beds. Drinks and good coffee are available. Numerous restaurants, including Western food, are available within walking distance. Accommodation is based on double occupancy of rooms. Families with children are very welcome, and children beds may be brought at no charge.

PRICE & WHAT'S INCLUDED

The tour is available at a discounted  998 CNY/adult person, based on double occupancy of the room. For single room occupancy, and extra 400 CNY applies. Children 14 year old and under, sharing the room or bed with parents (or self-brought portable bed) may join for a discounted 600 CNY. Children 0-4 years old that do not use a hotel bed may join for 300 CNY. 

Included in the fee:

 ★  Private coach transport from and to Guangzhou

 ★  One night hotel accommodation, based on double occupancy of rooms. A private room can be requested for an additional 400 CNY

 ★  Island trip by speed boat, snacks and drinks

 ★  One drink at beach club (Saturday)

 ★  Hike on Sunday morning

 ★  Beach access for two days

NOT included in the fee:

 ★  Drinks & alcohol (except cave party)

 ★  Food; many restaurants, including Western, are available nearby

 ★  Extra activities, such as surf board and SUP rental

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

You may cancel your tour free of charge until 96 hours before the departure day. Cancellations after that time are charged 600 CNY. No refunds apply for cancellations within 24 hours before departure time.

If weather forecasts are very poor, we reserve the right to cancel up to 36 hours prior to the tour. Another day will then be scheduled, or a full refund provided. A minimum of 20 adult participants is needed for this tour to proceed.

WHERE TO MEET

We meet outside IFC, by the main entrance of the Friendship Store on Zhujiang Xi Lu, and next to the golden statue shown below. The Chinese address for DiDi is: 广州国际金融中心. For the English version, use: Guangzhou Friendship Store Guojin Branch. If you come by metro, go to Zhujiang New Town metro station and take exit C. If you have any problems in the morning, you can contact us at 15626406926. Please be there at 7:50am. We will depart, with or without you, at 8:10am! Several days before the tour you will be added to a WeChat group with all participants on the tour.
