WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE

Leaving Guangzhou at 8:30am on Saturday 17 May 2025, our private coach arrives at the family resort hotel around lunch time. After lunch you have the option to stay at the hotel and its private beach for the afternoon, or join a 3-hour luxury yacht trip to the open waters of the South China Sea. We will take a combination of large motor yachts and sailing yachts to bring us out into the ocean, where we all come together onto one or two yachts for swimming, sliding, music and drinks. 

On Sunday 18 May 2025 you have the option to join us for a drive to another beach, from where you could either go surfing, SUPing or start a fun hike (different lengths available) along the coast line with spectacular views. We come back to the hotel for lunch, you can dip into the ocean once more, and we head back for Guangzhou in the afternoon. We expect to be back in Guangzhou between 6:00 and 6:30pm, depending on traffic. 

All activities are optional. You are very welcome to stay at the hotel, enjoy the beach and kids playground, and just sit back and relax!

Private coach transport is arranged from and to Zhujiang New Town, Guangzhou. Lunch on day 1 and 2 is at your own expense. The hotel offers decent western food. Dinner on day 1 and breakfast on day 2 are included in the fee.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

We stay at a stylish, family-friendly, seaside hotel with a private beach and indoor kids playground. There are two types of accommodation available: ordinary hotel rooms (of different types), and (family) suites with multiple (3 to 6) rooms, bathrooms and a living room. Rooms are fairly small, but you'll spend most time outdoors anyway!

• 2 King-sized beds of 1.8m wide each

• mountainview, larger room, no balcony
• normal price + CNY260 (total for room)

Option 2A:

• 3 bedrooms, 2 floors, 1 living room, 1 indoor kid slide
• 2 bedrooms with 1 King-sized beds of 1.8m wide
• 1 bedroom with 1 King-sized bed of 1.8m wide + 1 bed of 1.5m wide
• 3 bathrooms
• normal price if used by 7 people; a fee of CNY200 for each person under 7

Option 2B:

• 4 bedrooms, 2 floors, 1 living room, 1 indoor kid playground
• 3 bedrooms with 1 King-sized beds of 1.8m wide

Option 2C:

• 4 bedrooms, 2 floors, 1 living room

• normal price if used by 8 people; a fee of CNY200 for each person under 8

Option 2D:

• 5 bedrooms, 2 floors, 1 living room
• 3 bedrooms with 1 King-sized bed of 1.8m wide
• 2 bedrooms with 2 beds of 1.2m wide each
• 4 bathrooms
• normal price if used by 9 people; a fee of CNY200 for each person under 9

Option 2E:

• 6 bedrooms, 1 living room
• 4 bedrooms with 1 King-sized bed of 1.8m wide
• 2 bedrooms with 2 beds of 1.2m wide
• 4 bathrooms
• normal price if used by 10 people; a fee of CNY200 for each person under 10

 

 

The trip price is based on double occupancy of the room. If you wish to have a single, private room, and extra 300 CNY applies. 

 

Now, with so many options to choose from, what is best for me?

 

For couples: easy, pick from option 1A to 1E. Or if you want to bring your entire group of besties, get a family suite.

For single bookings: easy, pick from option 1A to 1E and add CNY300 to the fee. Or get a family suite with your friends.

For families with children: little more complicated :) You have a few options:

1. Pick an ordinary room from option 1A to 1E and share the bed with your kid. Choose option 1D or 1E if you wish your kid to have their own bed. Choose option 1E if you have 2 kids.
2. If you have 3 or more kids, and two king-sized beds are not enough for you, you will need to either book two rooms (+CNY500 for option 1A, and extra for other options), book option 2A (+CNY1350), or find others to share a family suite with.
3. Find other families to share a suite with, ranging from 3 to 6 rooms. This will provide you with more fun and comfort.

Baby beds are unavailable, but you may bring your own. Inflatable mattrasses may also be brought along at no charge.

 

ACTIVITIES

On Saturday afternoon we'll go for a three-hour luxury yachting trip off the mountainous and lush coastline of the peninsula. We set off on different yachts and after some time arrive in one spot on the ocean, where all yachts are tied together and we move onto 1 yacht for some fun on the sea! Music, drinks, a large slide and plenty of opportunity to enjoy life on the water!

 

On Sunday morning we'll take a hike along the stunning coastline. People of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to join. There are short and long hikes available. Depending on the group and its wishes, we'll decide whether we go as one group or split up. 

Alternatively, on Sunday morning you may try surfing or SUPing. Rent a board or take a lesson and ride those waves!

 

FOOD

Saturday lunch: the hotel has a western restaurant where you may order (and pay) your own food. Alternatively, you may bring your own lunch, or grab a (delicious) sandwich from Dolcetto Bakery, the meeting point in the morning.

Saturday dinner: in the evening we organize a (western-style) BBQ at the hotel, which is included in the fee.

Sunday breakfast: is served by the hotel and included in the fee.

Sunday lunch: you may order at the western restaurant in the hotel, or use Meituan to have food delivered.

PRICE & WHAT'S INCLUDED

The tour can be booked with or without joining the yachting trip: 

• Option 1: with yachting trip: starting from CNY1,950/adult and CNY1,150/kid (from 2yo). Extra fees may apply, based on the room type chosen. 
• Option 2: without yacht trip: starting from CNY1,100/adult and CNY400/kid. Extra fees may apply, based on the room type chosen.

 

Included in the fee:

 ★  Private coach transport from and to Zhujiang New Town, Guangzhou

 ★  One night hotel accommodation

 ★  For option 1-only: three-hour luxury yacht trip with drinks, snacks, music, slide and floaties

WHERE TO MEET

We meet at cafe Dolcetto, on the ground floor of the Four Seasons Hotel in Zhujiang New Town, Guangzhou.  In DiDi use 'Dolcetto'. By metro, go to Zhujiang New Town metro station and take exit C. If you have any problems in the morning, you can contact us at 15626406926. Please be there at 8:15am, or earlier if you wish to grab coffee or breakfast. We will depart at 8:30am, or we'll miss the yachts! Several days before the tour you will be added to a WeChat group with all participants on the tour.
