Get funky on this astonishing tour in the culturally rich Dongshankou neighborhood, where lines of East and West meet. Packed with 100-150 year-old historic buildings, this is the breeding ground for both Nationalists and Communists. Get lost in 19th-century Guangzhou and learn how Dongshankou made a revival to become Guangzhou's hippest destination. We start with a visit to Fei Gallery, Guangzhou's oldest art exhibition. We then ride through small streets and alleyways that are lined with historic villas from the 1920s, as we stumble across boutique fashion stores, hip coffee shops, and speakeasy cocktail bars. We have a break at Triple Rooster coffee shop and art gallery for handcrafted drinks and snacks, and pass by the Dongshan Baptist Church. Riding through more tree-lined streets and the Xinhepu canal, we finish at Kuiyuan Gallery for more art and a balcony-view over the neighborhood.
Join once, and you'll find yourself flocking back to Dongshankou all the time!
